I went on a plane ride in my grandpas homemade plane on April 25 2010. While my mom and dad were in Austin. My brother and I were playing ping pong upstairs in the attic. Then he told me Cappy (our grandpa) was going to take us on a plane ride. It took about 15 minutes for it to get started. When it booted up my brother hopped in and took a ride first. Me and Daboo (our grandma) were riding our bikes to the runway, wich was just across the street. When the took off, they made sure they were going aginst the wind because that would get them up in the air easier. They were flying for about 15 minutes. When they landed they pulled in and Cappy told me to go hold the front of the plane. After my brother got out he went around and did my job while I got in the 2 seater very easy. First thing I did was buckled my seat belt, then i put the headphones on. We can communacate with the headphones by speaking into a little speaker. When we took off I could feel the strong gravitional pull. When we were at about 2,000 feet he showed me 9:00, 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, and so on. He told me, “You got the airplane.” I said, “What is that supposed to mean.” He said, “It means you are controling the airplane.” I said, “No, no I dont know how to fly.” He said, “Branson all you have to do is move the stick a little bit to turn it.” So I did it was awesome I flew for about 15 minutes did hard turns and flew to downtown FortWorth. After I flew he said, “I got the airplane.” Then he said, “Hold on to your stomach were doing a wing over. For you people who don’t know what a wing over is, it is somthing that would make every ride at Six Flags look very little. It is were you go straight up to 3,000 feet then turn and go straight down. We did about five of those. I asked if we could fly over my house, so we did. I looked in our driveway for our white Subruban, I saw the Subruban with a black van in the driveway. I said, “Cap cicirle around again!” He asked, “What is wroung? I said, “There is a black van in our drive way!” He said, “Thats not good at all.” He said, “I see it, and thats not good.” So we came in and landed. When we got to the house I asked Daboo if I could call Mama and Papa to go check at home. So I called them. I asked, “Could you go check on Yukon and the house. Papa said, “We have been here 20 minutes already.” That was them in the driveway, not a robber. So that solved our little problem.
I got my own playing cards.
I went to K-Life with Wyatt Allsup. First we showed up at the house and played water balloon toss. Me and Wyatt both got soaked by it splatting on us. Then we went inside and danced around the big open room. After that we played another game that they made up words and we had to tell them what we thought it was. They told us to sit down and not talk at all. Then they brought out doughnuts on a stick, one kid yelled, “DOUGHNUTS!!!!!” But everybody was quiet except that one kid was quiet. We played limbo with the doughnuts on the stick. When you went under you had to take a bite of a doughnut. After that they poured all the spare of doughnuts on the ground, all the boys went diving into the pile with me and Wyatt. To finish it off one of the leaders told us a bible story about how special you should feel every day. With that we all had a spirthday. (special day) With awesome cake!
I think the movie AVATAR would be like World War III on a different planet. If you haven’t seen this action and adventure movie, you should get it on DVD. In the first part of AVATAR they introduce you to Jake Sully. His brother, a great scientist, was mugged and then died. So Jake took his brother’s place as a scientist and went to Pandora to work with the Navi and communicate with them to learn more about them.
As a cripple, Jake transported himself into an Navi body. He gets in and out of his Navi body by a little thing that looks almost like a time capsule. He gets a little too obsessed with the Navi and blends in with their culture. That makes war.
Rated PG-13 ages 13 and up for use of Violence, language, and disturbing images.

I have never had allergies before, but on April 11, 2010, I had an allergy breakdown! I was at my church’s picnic playing football with high school kids when they started acting up. One of my eyes got elbowed and was extremely red! Then when I went back out to go play more football, my other eye started acting up too. Both of my eyes were itching like crazy! I had to rub and rub them to get the pain out. I went over to my mom and said, “My eyes are killing me. I’ve got to get out of here!”
So we got on the road and went straight to Walgreens. My dad bought some medicine and we got right back on the road and drove home. When we walked in the house I went straight up to the shower and cleaned all the pollen out of my hair. I went downstairs and my mom was trying to get Hudson, Basden and Esther in the bed. After my dad got off the phone I asked, “Who were you talking to?”
He said, “One of my doctors. The doctor said you need to wash out your eyes well.” Back to the shower I went and washed out my eyes. The next few days I couldn’t go outside at all. The next day it got better and I could go outside.
My little league game started at 5:30 against the Yankees. I was pitching to one of my friends Stewart Norment and his team. Stewart, third in the line-up, came up to bat with one man on base. The pitch count was 2 strikes, 2 balls.
Then I threw it… BOOM! I could hear the hollow sound of the combat cracking as that ball flew over the fence. I thought about what I was going to do - stomp around on the mound like a normal pitcher, or act far from a normal pitcher and clap for him? I behaved far from a normal pitcher, that is for sure because Mrs. Norment came over and told my mom and dad how touching it was to have me clapping.
Hey, and Stew, if you’re out there reading this, that was a nice hit! Next time we play, we’re going to win.

We showed up at our lake at 1:00 and only my grandparents were there with my dog Yukon. then my grandma told me she had gotten tadpoles for fishing. I went to go get a tadpole and I stuck it through my hook and casted my line. I did it over and over again still no luck! Then the Sanders showed up and were jumping on our trampoline. Then the Levy’s showed up too. The Sanders have Brighton(6), Julia(8). Then the Levy’s have Nicolas(10), Samuel(8) and Benjiman(3). We went down to fish and again didn’t catch anything. Then the Wolfe’s and Anderson’s got there. Anderson’s have Atlee(8), Beckett(6), Avalon(3). And the Wolfe’s have Graham(8), Asher(6), Samuel(5), Jopey(4) and Nathan(baby). When they got there it was about time for lunch. We had ham, turkey and fruit. After that we had a play of Jesus rising from the cave. Then it was time for EASTER EGG HUNT!!!!!! Our max amount of eggs was 12 when my mom said, “go!!!” I was the first one out there. I got all sorts of candy! After the hunt me and Nicolas got our canoe and took our fishing poles and went out to the middle of the lake and fished. When it was time to go I asked if Nicolas and Samuel could spend the night. He said, “yes” I cant wait for tonight!

This book 2 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians is amazing! Percy is on a Quest to find his friend Grover and to see who poisoned Thila’s tree. One of Percy’s friends comes along too. The god’s father Konros is reforming and wanting to make a fall of the Olympians. Camp Half-Blood is in danger too, and with Thila’s tree poisoned, there is no boarder line to keep out monsters. There is only one thing that can heal Thila’s tree, The Golden Fleece. They go on a trip to the Sea of Monsters. I recommend this book for ages 10 and up.

This amazing book, The Lightning Thief, is a story about 12-year-old Percy Jackson who Zeus thinks stole his master lightning bolt. Now Percy has to go on a journey to get his mother back and find the person who stole the master lightning bolt. He goes across the country to Las Vegas to go to the underworld and get the lightning bolt and his mother.
Parents, this book has Greek Mythology in it. So your child will learn about Greek gods. I recommend this book for ages 10 and up. And parents, you might like it too. Don’t forget to go see The Lightning Thief in theaters!
You all know my 11-year-old husky, Yukon. If you don’t, you can learn about him on the post Attack. Me, my brother, and TCU pitcher Paul Gerrish went down to the park to play baseball. We saw a pretty big hole in the fence and Yukon was staring through it. We thought, “He’ll be fine.” But when we came home Yukon was gone. We went inside and saw that somebody had called, so we called them back. A lady had found Yukon and put him in her backyard. But by the time we called her back, she was at McDonalds eating with her grandson.
My mom came home. I said to her in a frightened voice, “We need to go get Yukon!” So we jumped in the car. The lady came out of her house and growled like a bear, “He’s GONE!”
I thought, “Lady, you don’t come barreling out of a house and say to a 10-year-old that LOVES his dog, He’s GONE!!!!!”
I was sooooo mad I was about to come over there and level her! I mean, she could have just gone and put him in our backyard! So we got back in the car and drove around the other side of Fort Worth for an hour. Then Basden and her friend, who had been watching a movie in the backseat the whole time, moaned, “We want to go home.” So my dad left work early to help look for Yukon and the two of us drove around for another two hours.
Finally, we got a call. We sped to another lady’s house she had Yukon there. She opened her garage door, and I had to hold the tears back by swallowing hard. There Yukon sat, eating cat food and not wanting to go home. We thanked the lady so much, but on the car ride home my dad was afraid Yukon would puke from the cat food. I was relieved to have Yukon home!

Last Saturday, Dr. Hotchkiss took my dad and me on a plane ride. We met up with Dr. Hotchkiss and his son Luke at their house at 6:30. Luke is 13 and in the 7th grade, and Dr. Hotchkiss, information unavailable. They live right by Wallgreens.
So we were on our way. I was sooooo exited about riding in their six-seat private plane, because I have ridden in my grandpa’s plane once, but that was on my eighth birthday, and now I am ten. We taxied on the runway and then we chanted, “5,4,3,2,1 - and we’re off!”
We flew pretty high and my ears began to hurt so I started chomping my mouth. Luke and I told “yo mama jokes” and pretended like we were sky diving! We landed and drove in a golf cart to an awesome BarBQ place. It was amazing! They cooked outside, and they served the best BarBQ ever!
We drove back in the golf cart. I hopped in the plane and, “5,4,3,2,1 - and we’re off!” It was an outstanding flight home. Luke and I had the best view of Stephenville’s red and yellow flickering lights.
“5,4,3,2,1 - and we land.” We got back home and Luke and I went straight to the climbing wall while Macy and her friend watched Cool Runnings. We went up to their secret attic and Luke and I played there for the rest of the night.
